My first skirt arrived (it’s this gorgeous light blue tiered maxi skirt) and I got a cute black and white striped top and a dress too cause fuck it, we ball.

And I put them on (not all at once Imao)

I didn’t expect that. I didn’t expect the light to be so bright. I didn’t realize how miserable l’ve been.

I saw myself in the mirror and I just started sobbing. I felt PRETTY! For the first time in my LIFE I felt PRETTY!

I was overcome with this intense tsunami of emotion that must have always been there, but it was hiding - or maybe | just didn’t see it. Or maybe I did but I ignored it.
